Cascade Medical Clinic

CMC Financial Policy

Cascade Medical Clinic Supports a No Surprise Patient Account Experience.

Cascade Medical Clinic provides preventive and medical treatment services that enhance your quality of life. Our charges for services are comparable or less than those of other health care providers in the Central Oregon area. In order for us to maintain optimal patient care we have established financial policies that allow us to continue serving our patients with up-to-date medical services in a clean and comfortable environment.

Our goal is to be clear and consistent with our patients regarding our payment policies. We will inform you at each step in the process including on the phone when you schedule your appointment, in writing with our New Patient Packets and at the time of check-in.

CMC requests payment for your patient responsibility at the time of service, including insurance co-payments, deductibles or coinsurance, the amount you are responsible for if co-payments are not applicable to your services. Uninsured patients should be prepared to pay in full at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover and Master Cards.

If you have questions about the amount you will be required to pay, please ask when you schedule your appointment and have your insurance card available. CMC makes every effort to confirm your insurance benefits prior to your appointment; however, we are unable to guarantee the amount of your patient responsibility. We recommend that you contact your insurance company directly for information concerning benefits for the services you expect to receive.

We contract with most major insurance plans offered in Central Oregon. Please contact us at 541-548-2164 if you have questions regarding the contract status of your insurance plan.

Currently, we do not contract with Community Care Network (CCN), Managed Health Network (MHN), Secure Horizons Direct or United Health Care. We can still provide you with medical care; however, you will likely have a higher out-of-pocket expense. We recommend that you contact your insurance plan if you have questions about benefits for services provided by non-contracted providers.
